The Center on
American Racism and Social Justice (IARSJ) was created to unite our
nation in fighting racism through dialogue, research and advanced
study.
If we are to shape our nation according to the ideals upon which it
was founded, we must be heard.
Read here how Hillary
Clinton and Barack Obama have joined in the discussions.
A Grassroots Movement
The IARSJ seeks to enlist at
least
one million Americans in an ongoing dialogue on race and
racism. If we are to reduce hostility, divisiveness and segregation in our
country, we must all speak out.
Every voice matters. Share your views, your beliefs and hopes with others who
share a vision of eradicating racism in America.
Mission
To mobilize at least
one
million Americans in a movement to end racism through open dialogue and
to raise
ten million dollars to establish a permanent Center at
the University of Pennsylvania advancing the study of racism and social
justice in America at the University of Pennsylvania.
-Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed
citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.
